I’m starting to think that the PPC leverage plan I’ve been advocating for might have to take a backseat for one election cycle.

The government is making everything more expensive for profit. It sucks. I feel so annoyed at how often I walk into the independent grocery the prices are higher, and the shelves are empty.

The GDP doing well means as a whole we are producing more products, but we are producing more while the worker is earning less. The stock market measures success of corporations, not families.

There are rising prices, massive and increasing job losses, and empty shelves at the supermarkets and the CBC, which is a branch of the Canadian government is lying to you pretending it’s all just fine. The COVID policies as put in place by the governments of the world have facilitated the largest transfer of wealth from poor to rich in world history.

In the US, gas prices are reaching a 14-year high, and the economy as a whole is in a horrible place. In California, gas prices are the highest they’ve ever been at over $5/gallon.

These new economic issues are debilitating. I’m starting to think that the PPC leverage plan I’ve been advocating for might have to take a backseat for one election cycle.

With the recent rise, consumers are now paying 40 cents more than just a week ago.

“There are few words to describe the unprecedented rise in gasoline prices over the last week, with massive spikes coast to coast in both gasoline and diesel prices, as oil prices jump to their highest since 2008,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy.

“Forget the $4 per gallon mark, the nation will soon set new all-time record highs and we could push closer to a national average of $4.50,” he said. According to GasBuddy, the average price of gasoline will likely set a new all-time record within a day.

This next election cycle, I think I will end up endorsing the Conservative Party. Don’t get me wrong, the Tories are scummy people, but these economic issues are so massive and terrible that we need a band-aid solution before we can get back into the main strategy, that being using the PPC as leverage against the Tories to force them to accept positions on their right. It worked for vax mandates, and it will work on everything else, but we need to be cautious not be too aggressive.

We can put the economy back into place and get rid of vax mandates with the Tories, and once that’s done, we can continue using the PPC to force them to move to the right. Fix the economy, then fix immigration, then fix abortion.
